Got my all chrome hitch from DenRay in Montreal.  Naturally the ball gets the chrome scraped off but the rest of it looks great and matches the rails on the bags.  Hoping to post pictures of my 2012 soonish

I tried to order this tow package, but due to serious illness of the proprietor it appears to currently be unavailable. I had to end up going with the Bushtec hitch, which is not nearly as well made and is nearly double the price ($439) as the MC Hitch.  Overall I am very disappointed with the quality of the Bushtec unit and I told their salesman as much. As usual, I feel you are paying extra simply for the name. Unfortunately I have a trip planned for early May and could not wait to see if the MC Hitch becomes available before then. If it does, I WILL be changing over to the MC Hitch due to the superior construction. I have Corbin saddlebags and trunk therefore Bushtec and MC Hitch are the only 2 manufacturers that make a hitch for use with the Corbins.

Be advised the Bushtec hitch states it is a pin hitch only. This is incorrect, the pin can easily be omitted and a regular ball mouned in it's place. Construction of the Bushtec is much lower quality than the MC Hitch, being constructed mainly of a single chrome tube bent in a "U" Shape with 2 vertical supports at the rear of the fender. The bolt holes do not line up very well with the rear passenger peg bolts, which is where the Bushtec hitch attaches. I also found that it provides no clearance at the bottom edge of the rear fender when installed, which I suspect will cause chipping/damage to the rear fender, there fore I had it slightly modified (bent down) to give me 1/4" clearance on the rear fender. It easily clears the stock exhaust as well as my aftermarket Freedom Performance Tru-dual exhaust. I suspect it will clear most exhaust systems on a Stratoliner Deluxe. It is finished in chrome and it is NOT  a receiver style hitch, so you have to deal with that big ugly ball sticking up all the time. The Bushtec will do in a pinch, but the MC Hitch is a FAR superior product.

I also have Corbin's and was wanting to build my own but was wondering where the attachment points are! Would it be possible for you to send me some pic's? I know I can build one with removable receiver for a lot less than the $400+ cost that their asking! You can post here if you want or pm me or I can send you my email.

Finally got my Corbin bags, over a month late btw, and found that the Bushtec Hitch does NOT fit with the Corbin bags without significant modification. I am totally disgusted with both Corbin and Bushtec because neither place wants to give any assistance with the situation. My trip has already been delayed by 2 weeks and shortened by a week because of all these issues. I will NEVER consider dealing with either of these companies EVER again and I highly suggest if you want aftermarket bags or a hitch...find another company.
