I would say that the 95 pins in the map are the members that intend on being somewhat active on this forum.  The others are probably less than 10 time posters over the course of the life of this forum.  Probably not worth worrying about anyway.

I agree.  I think you are going to get just a percentage of members as active members no matter what.  I also think that you get people to sign up to get an answer to a specific question or information for a specific problem and when that is achieved then they are not active anymore.  Just my opinion and we all no what opinions are like.  So getting all members to pin the map is impossible.  But usually the ones that matter are the ones that pin the map so all is good.
