Needing new handle bars for '14 strat
« on: July 27, 2017, 11:00:09 PM »
I had the "star bar" for my '06 Venture which alleviated the sharp pain between my shoulder blades.  I can't find a handlebar designed to do the same for the strat.  Anyone know what kind and where I can get one?

I have a similar problem.  Overall the factory bars are positioned find for my hands and wrists, but I need them to pullback a few inches and with a factory fairing that could be a problem.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

i am goig to try putting washers under my risers to see if it will help. i have done this with other bikes saved a lot of money. only needed a little rise up and in
. most bolts have room to add 1-4 washers under them and plenty of room to start nut. hope this helps.

I know I might be late with this suggestion and you have probably heard of this but - the Barons Liner Pullback Risers solved my problem. I am 5'5" tall and my neck and back bothered me after a few hours. The Riser was a huge improvement.

If you have the Yamaha fairing I don't think you can do anything to change the handlebar mount as the fairing fastens to them. Yamaha or Flanders touring bars will work and will move the grips back/up some.
