1st Stratoliner
« on: September 10, 2017, 08:25:02 pm »
Hello, I'm a new new member from Commercial Point, OH. I just traded my 2009 Kawasaki Concours 14 for a 2007 Stratoliner S with a reckless fairing. Before the Kawasaki I had an 03' Ultra Classic which was a great bike but it was slow and no fun in the turns. The Concours was a fun bike very fast and better in the the twisties, or so I thought. One day I rode my friends Stratoliner for about an hour. I was impressed by the power and the cornering abilities of the bike. It felt easier to turn than the Kawasaki. Two weeks later I'm an owner my own Stratoliner.

Welcome, each bike I have found has its strong points. Would be nice to have 3 or 4 each of a different flavor.

That's not far from McKinney, we could almost be neighbors. Did your job take you there? I'll be retiring there! Good riding around there? Texas seems to be pretty flat other than the Hill Country.

McKinney is close by for sure.

What makes Texas so great are the people.

I lived in SoCal for almost 54 years so yeah I was deep rooted for sure.

The state of California has turned to crap.

The taxes are out of control, and the state is being run by a bunch of a$$holes and it will never recover IMO.

Texas has everything to offer verse Cali.

I needed to live & die on red soil if you catch my drift.

I have been with my company for over 17 years and they opened another office in Texas.

I wanted to move here so it was a no brainer.
