I've been to a dozen different fabricators with this idea and none of them will touch it because the reflector is injection molded plastic. I'm to the point now where I'm considering replacing the entire headlight. Also looking at a Blacksmith Motoring Phantom Banshee R fairing. It puts a double headlight up front, kinda similar to a sportbike, plus plenty of room for dual HID according to Blacksmith Motoring. I'm having issues with my fairing anyway, the tabs inside the top cowl keep breaking off so the inner cowl has nothing to fasten to. It makes a horrible noise every time I hit a bump. I'm on my 3rd one and they are no longer available. I can see why, cheap ABS bullshit.

Here's a link to Blacksmith. Tell me what you think...

There is a guy on the Stratoliner site on facebook that offers a plug and play led kit for these bikes.
Got to ride to maintain my sanity.

A word of caution.... be careful doing any business with Blacksmith! I haven't had any dealings with him personally but from what many others on this site and Delphi have said I would run as fast as possible the other direction!! If you want their stories just search the name on this site.

That might be the final push to make me sign up for Facebook after all these years!

STILL super-interested in this mod if anyone can ever do it!  :)

Thanks very much for that BigBouncer, I definitely want to know more! Looks like he's doing a bulb/vented cover combo. I'll be curious to see what bulb he chose that will fit in there, there's not a lot of room. Obviously the vented cover is for airflow for the heat sink or fins. I'll either sign up for Facebook or (more likely ;)) use Mrs. AnthonyD's to take a look this weekend  ;D

I am not on Facebook so I would greatly appreciate it if someone would pass along the information on the Headlight Led conversion kit contact and specs.

Thank you,
Alan
