clutch mod
« on: July 03, 2017, 06:02:44 pm »
I have a 2014 deluxe with Pro pipe, PCV and Ivans air box mod. I went 12.50 at this level, I can feel a little clutch slip.   In 2013 and 2014 they changed to a slipper style clutch.  I have since going to the track I put on a shift/launch lite and Ivans ECU reflash, so this brings up my question looks like I just have to order an inner basket from 2012 or older stratoliner which uses a diaphragm spring and I also ordered the Barnett pressure plate conversion for the 2012 or older stratoliners and should be able to back date my clutch to get rid of this slippage. been done? or any thoughts? I want maximize efforts on stock motor first then I have to decide nitrous or build the motor with Patrick Racing. I will put my Strat somewhere in the middle 11's at aminimum.
