Then I went on to set my tracking/belt tension.  I went with my orginal measurements, and fine tuned it by rolling the tire like the bike was moving forward, and watching the belt.  I adjusted my wheel alignment tensioner so that the belt naturally wanted to ride towards the center of the pully (off the side-wall of the front pulley)

Of course I double checked all my bolts for tightness, and made sure my back brakes were seating before I took her out today.   I stayed offf the major free-ways, and started on the local side streets, stopping often, and checking stuff out.  I kept the radio off, listening and feeling my way with her, before I hit any hard pulls or speed above 45mph.      Got about 150 miles on her today, and I am very pleased with how this went.

If any of you guys know  any tips, have any questions or comments here, feel free to add.   Ill be in the wind all day tommorrow, but will check back in here from time to time.

Oh Yeah, BE REAL CAREFULL WITH YOUR NEW TIRE, AS THEY ARE SUPER SLICK UNTIL YOU GET SOME SCUFF MILES ON THEM.

Yep, if you got allotta bolts to tighten and want to make sure you remember you did each and every one.....take a black magic marker and do a dot or slash on them as you go.

what i usually do when im doing something with a lot of bolt torques is hit them with a white paint marker after torquing them. DOT is gunna start making all the districts do that on the buses soon for wheels and stuff, so I got used to it pretty quick lol

That's a great idea.  Some of these jobs can run long and with distractions it would help to know which ones you've addressed. Only thing is, what about the second time you are in it.  Won't the mark still be there?

Take the mark off or use some other kind of marking loke a dot or "X". Use a marker that will only mark it for you. What ever works.
