I am wondering what people think about getting the stock rims chromed or have them painted black to match.

Look at Swomack's ride if you want to see how black turns out.  I think you can't go wrong either way.

Yes. Either is a better option than what Yamaha did with the unpolished aluminum. Nothing else. On the bike looks like this so I am not sure why you would do that. Chrome I think would look nice and the black makes it look mean. Either way you can't go wrong although I would powder coat the black instead of paint.

Had mine chromed before I picked it up at the dealership.  Still glad I did.

I want the chrome, but i have the Roadliner S in red and it looks great. but if i had the Stratoliner D, i would go for the black powder coat like scott did, Wow the bike looks great with them.   8)

I plan to go the powder-coat black route when my bike is due for new rubbers...  :P
