When I had my lifters replaced, I took off my shield and outer fairing to ride it about 20 miles up to my dealership.  (THAT WAS A WINDY butt WHOOPIN, I WILL NEVER WANT TO REPEAT)

I hated the stock screen.  I am so much happier with my Clearview.

I'm going to purchase a screen that is 9.5" or 10" next.
I will check this company out when I do.

Yea fast shipping is not their strong suit, but it's a great product.

Most likely I'll buy from Clearview but I'm not going to wait 7 weeks or longer to get it.
If been playing around with making my own.  I've worked with acrylic for years and it would be easy to make a mold and make my own.  I'll call Clearview and see what their production time is.  I would always take my touring shield and cut it down to the shape and size I want as well.  Options are good brothers.

I wonder if you could bend a piece of "round tube stock", and use it to form the "recurve".

I called Cee Bailey's today to see what the status of my order is.  They said it would ship at the end of the week.  I ordered it on the 5th of this month.

I just called clearview, went straight to voicemail, please do not leave multiple messages, as this will clog our system.   Well whats that telling you folks?    lol, in business for 25 years .   WOW

If you could see their operation...25 years does not mean a big company.  The garage they work out of is small, and the "office" down the block (dirt road) is pretty small and sparce.

They are no Cee Bailey's when it comes to production times.  I'm not defending them, they pissed me off too on how long it took to get my shield, but in the end it's a great product.

They can't survive not communicating to customers though...

I was just outside, finally mowing my lawn------ 8)------- and Mark from Clearview returned my voice message.   He said that my shield was in the forming process, and should be at inspection today.  Barring no problems in inspection, he said that it would probably ship tommorrow!!!!!!!!

Ordered April 20th., so it looks like a 30 day deal.

Boy, they make it sound like a huge operation! So it's basically moving it from one side of the garage to the other, and it takes over a day!  :-\

I think these guy are full of $hit
