Couldn't help myself, ordered a set of chrome with black tips today.

Who out there has put them on yourself?  I'll be looking for some tips!

I only have a slip-on, but some "classic" advice would be:  go slow--have a helper--get new exhaust gaskets--thoroughly read any provided instructions--don't get frustrated--put pads or blankets down on the concrete you are working on...

And change your transfer case oil and check your belt tension while the exhaust is removed!

    Great choice of pipes, and great looking bike! A bit off the subject. I keep talking myself out of the Fleetliner trunk, saying put that money towards the next bikes. But when I see pictures of Stratoliner Deluxe's like this, it sure makes it hard to say no.
