Rode around and picked up stuff and sprayed off some of the larger mud deposits.

...only to realize I didn't have a 19mm allen key socket to take out the axle. DOH!  >:(

Just rode mine to work and was a little chili this morning. Rode it home and on the way stopped for gas. Not as chili on the way back home.  :)

Had to take one of my managers to lunch today, and I don't think she would have appreciated it if I rode. So when I got home I just patted the liner on the fairing and promised to get her out tomorrow.

washed it and re-installed my corbin fairing for the cold season+a new long commute once weekly. I do not like fairings very much especially the one i have, risers mean my hands are not protected, medium shield means it beats my head around a bit.

Also found a loose bolt on my fork, the one that tightens it on the axle, glad i found that before i died

I installed some Rad III mirrors and a fender rack. Polished it up and went for a rip up the mountain to the ski area and back. Nice weather today sunny and 29C

Took mine for the ride in to work today.  Was gonna do it yesterday, but the weather wasn't looking good.

Not too many decent riding days left this season, I fear.  We had a VERY mild winter last year, and I get the feeling this one's gonna come back w/a vengeance.

Installed Sattelite radio on mine. Spliced the cables so I can use either MP3 or the Sattelite setup. Next on the agenda is an amp and speakers. I do want to disable the auto sound adjust but not sure how to do it yet. (I know it has been covered on here but I have not looked in to it enough yet) Also installed a dark tint clearview recurve shield on the fairing. Looks nice.

A recap of everything done to it so far: PC-V with Auto-tune, Roadhouse pipe, Touring bars, Kuryakin Trident Mirrors, Lowered 1" in the front and 2 in the back, Passenger floorboards, Corbin solo saddle, Mustang touring saddle, Potatochip saddle from Pacific Coast (Change at will for whatever I am doing), Passenger backrest, Black low mount plate, Performance Machine grips, Light bar, tinted shield and sattelite radio. Not bad for owning the bike since May 4th and also putting 11,000 miles on it to boot.

One last thing: I do agree it is getting cold abruptly and I hate winter becuse it limits ride time. Think we can pettition one of the candidates to get rid of it? Or just say they will to get the Votes? What do you think?

May all your rides be perfect...

Now that's a platform!  ;D Around here, it's kinda like somebody just shut off the heat a week ago.  Temps are still decent around mid-day, but the cold's coming, for sure.

I've got almost 8k on mine after buying it in May, I think.  Not quite 11k, but not bad.

Gonna have to invest in some leather I think.  The textile jacket I have isn't bad, but it's a lot of butt pain to put in the liners.
