Traded the Strat in ... have some parts left over
« on: July 01, 2017, 06:55:42 am »
Hey guys, I traded in the Strat yesterday and have some items left that were OEM parts. I will get a better list
together in a couple days or so but putting this out there if anyone might be interested.

Things I know I have:

SOLD --- OEM Stereo set up, handle bar controls, amp, etc.

SOLD --- OEM front and rear wheels with tires

SOLD --- Outer fairing shell, has a Dragon in a cave airbrushed on it, and chip top edge where dealer hit it with a cable
while transporting it in their trailer.

SOLD
--- Stock mirrors

SOLD ---  Stock clutch and brake levers (handlebar)

Stock seats, both, never ridden on

SOLD --- Fairing storage box with drop open door

Complete stock exhaust (1 small dink on muffler) including EXUP valve and cables

Stock foot pegs (i think they are in a box somewhere LOL)

Probably more once I root around in the basement. Larger stuff would be best if picked up but can get quotes to ship, or drive to meet you within reason.

Anyhow just PM if anything is of interest to you.... Thanks!!

Cap Nubs  ... haven't jumped on the throttle hard but has nice power, just not the same. It is a bit more "civilized" it's there but smoother. That how I would describe the bike, smooth and civilized. Handles excellently. Love the cruise on the slab. Only con is heat on the pipes side, damn catalytic converter is the culprit they say.

I watched some YouTube video and wow many things are so much easier to change. Adding LED headlight is 3 screws to pop off the fairing trim, 4 screws to take out headlight, unplug wire and replug, reassemble .... done. Even the grips are easy, not glued on. Throttle side locks into cruise control assembly without gluing, left one comes off with hidden set screw (iso series does glue back on though on the left). Takes like 10 minutes they say. Kuryakyn makes a set of add on rear LED fender trim brake lights that are complete with wiring plugs to tie into stock wiring in the tail light.  I might just be able to do some of this sh.. myself   LOL    (and go broke buying all the mods that are available!!)

EDIT:  Oh yeah forgot the biggest con .... OEM Indian accessories pricing is off the chart!!!!

Mine is   bone stock   runs pretty good, not as raw in acceleration as the Strat, but wasn't really concerned about that. The handling and ride along with all the features, I am happy??
