Passing lamps and mount, I need I need.
« on: September 07, 2017, 11:03:39 AM »
So, I have called many shops and looked all over the net and I can't find anyone that has the mounts and lamps for the strat deluxe.  Does anyone have a set laying around they are looking to get rid of?  Or know a shop that has them for sale?  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. The Pondman was trying to pass off a set, check if he still has them for sale.

I had been searching for the same parts for a long time. Talked to several dealerships and parts suppliers both here in the states and abroad. I've been told they have been discontinued and will not be produced any longer. I would call and verify before placing an order. Just a thought. Got lucky and found a down strat being parted out and scored a complete set.

Yeah I paid for a set hoping they would come off backorder, but they never did. So I ordered a set of Daymaker driving lights and a set of brackets that fit on the engine guard. Wala! works like a champ and great lighting. Into the whole set for about 70$. Just remember there are other options out there besides thr factory light bracket.
Got to ride to maintain my sanity.

John, completely agree on the other options.  But in my opinion, the factory passing lights look the best.  BUT, if they aren't available and I can't find a set anywhere in junk yards or shop warehouses, I will have to go another route.  Thanks all.

I just checked and they are still available at TMS parts. Which is the link I posted previously.

I put an order in the day shifthappy6 posted the link. I have a confirmed order but have had no response... from experience, this appears to suggest they have been ordered, but there is no supply.
