ape hangers - yes again
« on: September 22, 2017, 10:49:50 AM »
Hi, I know its' been spoken about in a couple of threads, but wondering if anyone has found a kit for ape hangers?

Looking to get my hands level to my shoulders, and want to get similarly thick tubes to the stock ones..beefy looks better...

Looking for a kit that has cables and bars...

Thanks...

mini ape will let you keep oem cables.
if you have oem fairing, choose the handlebar that will have the vertical tubes curved to move grips back (like mine http://www.stratolinerdeluxe.com/gallery/stratoliner-mods/custom-made-mini-ape-hanger-bar-is-almost-ready/4338

How much and where did you have those bars made?  I need some just like those.

it was custome made in Poland. I like the bar, but not the service provided by this workshop...

I put on a set of 14s. LA Choppers Twin Peaks with a Deluxe fairing. Level with shoulders and comfortable.

Did you need to get new risers or anything or was it direct swap?  Cables?  I like those bars you mentioned.   Pics?

There is a riser adapter needed to use stock risers. cables, brake lines and wires lengthened 6 inches. It is a pain in the butt on the wiring but worth it.

Any pictures of this set up?  I didn't see any in your profile.
