Thanks for this line of questioning! Started having issues with sudden cutout at low RPM and thought of the fuel filter too. Sounds like the bad news is I have to pull the pump to clean it??

you can try - but that built in filter is crap.
thats what i tried 1st
i think the clogged filter is what killed the pump.
pump has to work harder to pull fuel through the clogged filter
i recommend cleaning out the filter and then checking the fuel pump pressure... see if that did the trick.

Click the Forum button at the top (right under the word Deluxe).

Click a category on the Forum page (such as General Stratoliner Discussion or Technical Discussion)

On the right hand side at the top is a button called "New Topic".

Post away!  :)
