Is the actual lock broken?  When mine stuck shut, I just redid my latches with an OEM kit;  I could probably find the part number, if you want.

I've got a working lock but no key.  It's yours if you can't find a better option.

Yep, mine just had a broken spring inside. Luckily I have a GREAT service manager at my dealer that showed me the problem and gave me a new spring plus a couple more for spares.
You can buy a whole box of assorted small springs at your local auto or hardware store for a few bucks.

Yamaha offers a replacement lock kit with die cast locks. I purchased it and they locks are excellent. Also rebuildable. MSRP
